Background
mozgQ provides a platform to create questions, earn points, evaluate your skills and learn. mozgQ is intended to be all inclusive and may be used by everyone, of all ages, all cultural backgrounds and abilities. Most of all we want it to be a collaborative, friendly place full of facts and knowledge with people enthusiastic about sharing and improving their knowledge and skills.
There will always be a small minority of people who behave in a manner harmful to the mozgQ community and we will take measures we believe necessary to exclude those who do not behave in a manner we think makes a positive contribution to the community. We want mozgQ to be built on quality, honesty and integrity.
If there was one thing that we held most important to the mozgQ community, it's simply: be nice
Content Creation
mozgQ allows you to earn points by creating questions and related content. These may contain not only text but images and other data formats. When you create a question, the question must be completely your own original work. You may not copy questions from text books or other sources, automate question creation nor add content created by anyone other than yourself. Questions demonstrate your skills in a subject and we want original, well researched questions. To encourage this we award points for the use of your questions based on metrics which relate to the quality of the question.
By creating content on mozgQ you accept that mozgQ may use that content indefinitely and that it will be shared publicly with everyone.
As we want to cater for the widest possible audience all content should be based in English as the most widely use language on the Internet. Where content relates to a specific a different language it is appropriate to make question appropriate to an English speaker learning that language. For example you may ask questions like "What does the SOMELANGUAGE phrase '....' mean?" or "How would you say '....' in SOMELANGUAGE?".
Acceptable subjects and content
mozgQ aims to cover a broad range of subjects and content from pure entertainment to deeply scientific. As mozgQ is intended to be all inclusive, it is important that content is suitable for all ages, backgrounds and that it is kept factual, covering points of view appropriately.
We encourage content suitable for all skill levels from novice up to advanced levels. Content should help and encourage progression of skills.
We will not tolerate content that is created for the promotion of an individual, organization or group. We do understand that content may demonstrate skills with a particular brand of equipment, software or product. For example, a question of "What makes SOMEBRAND awesome?" would be considered promotional and inappropriate where a question of "What steps would you take to enable SOMEFEATURE in SOMEBRAND software?" would demonstrate skills with the product and be likely to be a positive contribution to the mozgQ community.
As mozgQ is for use by all ages, adult themes, profanity and other content that could be considered inappropriate for all users is not allowed. Likewise, any expressions of hate, racism, intolerance, threats, or anything that may be considered offensive or harmful to the mozgQ community will not be tolerated. We encourage factual content that respects all points of view and is suitable for everyone in the mozgQ community.
